Hey Guys,

I need some serious help with a web server im going to build so I can start hosting my own websites. What I need to know is do I need to up my current internet connection… 6 Mbps/512 Kbps (down/up) to host more that 1 site… (Goal is at least 60), and if I do need to up the bandwidth what would yall recommend? And should get a separate Static IP just for server itself or use the same IP I have now that I use for 2 computers and Xbox 360 ( main computer is wired in and the laptop and Xbox 360 are wireless).

Here are the specs of my server im going to build

Kevo89,

Have you considered reselling hosting?  Currently you have spec'd out over $2000 of equipment to host web sites out of your house.  For a fraction of that cost you could start a reseller account where websites would be hosted in a large data center with all the appropriate bandwith, power and physical security features.  If you are interested please contact us and we can discuss further.  All the best.
