I know Linux has an Unix base, but aren't pure Unix servers better? Can anyone answer me that?

I am not really sure if one is better than the other, I think it really comes down to a personal preference, and really, they are both very, very similar - and even more so now that Linux apps can provide support to Unix servers.

I thing both are equally good as they are very similar and Linux is only a little different as it was a free source and has always provided better support.
