I guess I am just unfamiliar with the terminology being used - is a data protection server the same as a backup server? __________________

A backup server makes backup copies and can restore erased data within the network. A data protection server continuously protects changed files that can then be backed up. So I guess they're kinda similar, since they both back up data. Correct me if I'm wrong.

That would seem to make sense, and is a great function of any server __________________
