You might be posting this question in the wrong forum? This is a forum for server-side issues. If you suspect a virus on her PC I would use a program like Spybot Search and Destroy to scan the computer and go from there. __________________

Regardless, Vista has had problems from the beginning. They just can't get a handle on things yet. __________________

Agreed Orrymain - Vista is a failed system - I stuck with XP until I made the switch over to Linux, and I have not been happier since __________________

I never switch to Vista even my friends did because I have always been confident using XP, so I am not familiar how it works with them.

I hate Vista so I feel your friends pain. Throw vista away and get Linux. Problem solved.
